New Head unit

Well i recently got siruis satalite radio from my gf from christmas. Well when i went to go install it into my cd player i found out that the aux port doesnt work so im getting rid of my old Eclipse cd5030 cd player and getting a Kenwood double din. Heres the link want to know what you guys think about it.

Oh and it has Bult in Garmin Navigation and bluetooth.

Nice i have a 12 inch fully loaded fi btl, going to get a T-2500bd1 Rf amp and are you sure there no alternator people out there that makes h.o alternators for our cars? i've been looking at steve meades website and he has a few people.

there might be a few now. but there were none at the time i did the dual alt thing. its gonna be 3 years ago

its sealed but its also pretty damn loud

i don't have the amps anymore. but at the time the seats folded up but i couldn't play the subs with them up

i see.... yea i thought about putting in my other 12 inch btl but its just to much money to run them both properly...

if the btls are anything like the older re's then you can still run them both without 4kw

i ran the 2 xxx 15s off 100 w for a month or so before. sounded pretty good actually. 12.5w per coil... 1/30th power

ha yea but i dont feel like getting another box built :P and i think one will be just as good. if anything i might do it later on when the one doesnt sound loud enough

ha ha yea.. but if i go that route i want a custom made box to put subs in like what you have but get it fiberglasses and painted the color of my car and go that expensive way ...

for those not wanting to go dual alt....there isn't anything special about our alt's....you can get them rewound just as you could most others.....
