Pics of your Ipod connection....

Well since I have the Pioneer Avic D3 DVD/Nav system in my car and it has an interface for Ipod, I am now thinking about getting an Ipod connected to it. The adopter which is required for the connection allows the Ipod to charge and allows digital sound to be played. And the D3 allows you to completely control the Ipod from the touch screen. My only concern is where to mount the Ipod connector and Ipod. I want to have everything clean looking and don't want wires or cables hanging all over.

So I am wondering if anyone has any pics of where their Ipods are mounted so that I can get a better idea of where to put mine.

OK so from your pics it looks like you have the Ipod in your armrest. Is that what you meant by glove box? At first I thought you meant the glove compartment on the passenger side.

So you basically connected it from the back of your deck then ran a wire into your armrest?

woops i ment to put armrest haha. i had to drill two 3/4" holes in the armrest and disconnect the ipod cable completely from the box itself (you have to crack it open and take out a little connector) becasue the otherside of the ipod cable is smaller and you dont have to drill as big of holes if you tried to fish the dock connector side through the holes

Well it looks like a nice install, and that was a cool place to put it, so it doesn't hang all over the place. Gives me some good ideas, thanks!
