Pioneer AVIC-X930BT - help very low volume!
hello all, I know there is some audio gurus out there.
I just got my Pioneer AVIC-X930BT installed. I love the unit so far but I have run into a couple little problems that you guys may know the answers to.
First off my car is a 2007 ss/sc with the pioneer system but without onstar.
I bought the pac c2r-gm11 and pac swi-jack but the shop that installed it couldn't get them to work so he ended up using the gmos-lan-04.
Now when my unit is on, the sound just seems so low... a lot lower the stock. At The max volume at 40 I cant hear it that well on the highway with windows down. I cant even hear the volume until about 15, its very low the sound.
Is there something internally to make the volume higher? My installer said something about the amp/sub setup needed to be lower so they don't blow and he can't put it higher. But theres got to be something because its very annoying to have this awesome unit but not loud enough.
Also, the navigation voice is very low. I have the sound turned up the loudest setting, but its still very low. If the music is on, it doesnt turn down when navigation is on, but just talks over the radio which doesn't seem right.
Lastly, my bluetooth connection is bad. There is only one bar (out of the three) filled and it gets disconnected sometimes. I don't know if its my POS phone (LG roque i think it is) but ive put it a bunch of places around the car and unit and it doesnt get better. My blackberry doesnt even connect but I assume they are trickier (from what I hear) This problem is the least of my concerns right now though, but any ideas?
So any help? Installation error? or any tips to get these to work?
Thanks in advance

that i dont know... i want to say im sure it does but honestly idk. id assume it would bc it increases the volume of everything (chimes and stereo output) and if the pioneer is anything like the kenwoods then it would but ive only used one pioneer navigation unit personally bc we only sold the kenwood nav pieces.
Ya I had to turn up the volume on mine on that little box as well, unfortunatley it made the door chimes louder as well. It controls the overall speaker volume no matter what is going through it. Not sure how the pac harness works but I'm sure it's similar.
