pioneer system help!
Hey guys so ive put in an aftermarket pioneer HU, into my balt. I have the pioneer premium system. i used the lan-o4 harness. I am getting barely any sound from my speakers at all, tons of bass from my subs, but i can barely hear my speakers, and i have all the treble cranked on the HU.... is it because im going through the stock amp to my aftermarket HU??? should i just bypass the stock amp, and rum my speakers though the HU??
thanks
thanks

nah gmos should be setup for the stock amp. Try adjusting both the treble and bass and see if they actually work as they should. also try grounding out one of the rcas to see if that helps (get a short piece of wire and touch the shield of the rca to the chassis of the HU) you may want to unplug the harness to reset the deck and see if its an issue with the settings as a last attempt
If none of that works just call metra and see what they can do. It might be a defective harness

thanks man, ill try grounding the rca's.
its a pioneer DEH-P6000UB, and ive already tryed adjusting the settings, my amp for the subs is turned right down, and down on the HU, the treble is maxed. Even with the subs off, and just the speakers playing i can have the deck at max volume, and its not even close to how loud they should be..... I was getting more volume from my speakers with the stock HU.............so frustrating

Its a 2007 with the pioneer premium system.
Sorry should have explained better, yupp, im running Aftermarket pioneer HU, with Metra lan-04..with Aftermarket Pioneer Mono Amp, and Subs in the trunk. Hope this works, will try out and post.
Cause It makes no sence that I was getting much louder sound with the Stock HU ofer the aftermarket...

Well i will try emperorJJ1s rca fix tomorrow... I hope its not the Harness, Ive talked to all the install places in town, and they said its the harness i need, it would suck it i had to order a new one.
I know what your problem is, had the same problem with the same adapter, when I first hooked up my system my front end was slim to none, and slim left town. Pull your HU out, take a look at the Lan-04, on one side of it you will see a set of jumpers and a round dial, put a screwdriver in the round dial and turn it all the way to the right. Its a volume control for your chimes that also runs the whole front end since your chimes now come out of your front right speakers.
Heres the kicker, your chimes are now going to be ear piercing, I mean loud, not just a little bit but hear you from the other end of a parking lot loud, its a trade off that your going to have to make, just learn to put your seat belt on really quick. The only way to get around it was to aftermarket amp up the front end, your call.
BTW-The jumpers are to control the volume on your turn signals, there going to get loud as well but turning them down had no effect on mine, maybe you'll have better luck.
