Power antenna?

Does anyone know if it is possible to wire a power antenna into our cars? I don't know if the factory head unit is set up for it.

Autozone and places like that sell the motors and installation kits. I had one that came standard on my 1994 4runner. It wasn't working when I bought it, but I fixed it... then it recently started screwing up and would push the antenna all the way out and I could NOT fix it. It was hella annoying.

I just dont recommend them... too much of a pain.

Yeah I could do that. I need to pick up a wiring manual for our cars if one is available. I don't know if there is a 12v supplied by the head unit that will tell the antenna to go up or down (like what the blue wire (I think it is) that does it on aftermarket headunits) or if I'd have to wire it up to where if the car or radio is on then the antenna is up.
