power doors and mirrors on LS?

Okay I got a 2006 cobalt LS sept 2007 because I could not afford a lt or ss. My question is hhow can I get power door and mirrors features for my LS? Or should o just save my money and upgrade to a 2009 ss or pontiac G8 sometime this year?

its costly and the dealer cannot and will not even attempt to do it.........meaning its a lot of custom work.....and **** do u rele need power windows and locks? ur time can be better spent.......plus its less **** thats gonna break on ya in the long run

i have an 07 LT however my mom has an 08 LS........i looked into it and it is not worth it at all.........by the time your done with the pricing thats a down payment for an SS/TC

i never really looked into it, so i dunno if this is really possible, it also seems like it would cost a ton of money.... but i'll ask anyway. say you were to find a totaled cobalt lt model or higher, and ****** up all the wiring and parts for the power locks windows and mirrors install it on the LS? I mean the doors are the same its just the internal parts on the door that are differnt?

Also somewhere on here there was person that was going to set up a power window kit, that he was trying to make work with the cobalt switches, i don't know if he ever completed the kit, but you can look into that.

thats why i dropped the extra $1K for the power stuff, and i thought it was B.S. that they don't put armrests in the LS

The only way it would be semi cheap is if you found a donor car at a salvage yard. Pull all locks, window motors, door panels, switches and wired it up. You still wouldn't have keyless entry.

if you already have power locks its cheaper to get keyless entry.

pretty complicated from what i see. I might just pay off a bit more off my car save some money and when i have about 2k left on the finance maybe ill trade it in for a ss sedan. so ill get what ever the dealer gives me for my LS plus what ever i have saved for a down payment. Its either that or move on to something bigger and better maybe a small SUV, like the euinox, crv, or something like that.

If i was to be able to find the doors off an SS N/A in a junkyard. would I be able to use them to take the panels motors everything and install them on my doors along with the wiring and convert my LS that way?
