Put the subs in or not..

I have 2 12inch mtx subs with a 600 watt amp.. I am thinking about putting them in the car when I get it, but it already has the 10 inch pioneer.. and im sure all that would sound like ****, and it being a new car.. I dont want all stuff to rattle on the car.. should I put it in and dynomat it? or just keep it stock and throw in a better pioneer head unit? and sell the subs and amp and buy a cf hood or something..?

oh yeah the dealor told me not to hook a amp straight to the battery in the back of the car for some reason?? he said ill lose hp.. about 10hp to be exact..?

Keep it stock, I think the 10 sounds awesome, not to overpowering, but not to little!

You'll just be adding weight and that will add time to your 1/4 and can be the diff. between a W or a L. Like Cody said the stock sound's awesome.

Unfortunately putting a system in our cobalts with the pioneer system isn't as easy, or cost efficent, as we'd like it to be. Check out the "RDS harness" thread in this forum and you'll see what I'm talking about. I think it all depens on what you're going for. If you ultmately are going to speed, get the hood, if you want looks and sound, get the system. I'm putting a 12' sub, 800 watt amp and a pioneer head unit in my car probably next week, mainly because I'm going for look and sound first...

Dynomat will be something that you'll want to get, if not when you put the system in, sometime down the road. Even with the 10' sub I've gotten the truck to rattle a little bit. Not a whole lot, but you can tell that anymore power and it will be rattlin like crazy..

I hate the stock system, I need more power. Im going for sounds first then looks then engine. Ill probably go with the usual JL subs+JL amp with Focal Mids and Highs along with the Eclipse double din AVN5435. But yeah i hate the stock system i need some bump.
