First off...I'm new to doing anything with audio to my car...so bear with me.

Okay well, I just bought another stock sub, the one in the pioneer box and waht not...I'm going to mount it to my trunk, but my question is can I wire it to the battery or is that not safe?

I'm pretty sure that it's not too safe...so I've got an amp ready...

Second question.

Can you un-wire the amp from the battery and run it to the amp when I put it in?
