Question reguard the three radio options 05-06
Okay people, yet another question. My car is an LS and I got the uplevel radio in my 06. It looks exactly the same as the silver-faced SS radios. (It has all the buttons such as AUTO EQ and such) I wanted to know if I can make an MP3 cd and it will work in my car. I just assume they slapped on a silver face to go with the SS silver nickel dash. I have a funny feeling that its the same unit produced by GM.
BTW: No Pioneer or XM with my car. I still think it won't matter.
Thanks.

Okay cool, thanks for your time.
BTW: Hopefully it will work, because yours is an 07 and mine is an 06. They are different stereos aren't they? You have the GM "big button" right?

Okay now I have discovered that my radio does not have any symbols under numbers 3 and 4 like the MP3 version does.
My radio is UN0 and the MP3 is US8. Is there still any way I can somehow make mine work with an MP3 disc?

dude heres the deal.
1. make a mp3 cd
2. put it in your car
3. see if it works
it only has to have one song on it in mp3 format to see if it will work. what will it cost you? 50 cents for the cd? it will take 5 minutes max to make it, walk to the car and try it. then you know for a fact if you have mp3 or not
