Questoin About the A/C

i was just wondering when you use the defrost does the A/C turn on

cause i rememeber on my cavalier it did but not sure on the cobalt because the light doesnt turn on

Yeah, it will. You can hear the ac clutch locking up when you turn on the fan with the dial set on defrost.
