Quick electrical question
Quick electrical question
Hooking up a mechnical boost gauge and I wanted to know what is the best place to grab an ignition source for the gauge to light up, it also has a '12v dash lighting' which I belive would be so that this guage can dim and brighten along with the rest of the dash.
Not too concerned about it being super bright all the time, but hooking up the dash lighting would be sweet still..
Ive installed tonnes of stereos and whatnot.. I know I can tap into the interior fuse box without much work involved I just thought I would ask how you guys do it or what source you most commonly tap into. Thanks!
Also I havent even researched this for myself but I might as well add - the line I want to T-Off for the boost gauge is the one coming out of the middle of the manifold there. In this picture its show T'd off already.

This thread shows where I think it should be safe to tap in the lighting and power for this gauge.
