I already have
Beltronics STi
I just got it and im not buying another one
Just looking for mounting tips
You guys running straight power cords or the Coiled, i think the straight cord would conceal better
Still just using the suction cup mount?

hardwire it in. have mine at the top of the windshield as id rather pic cops up as far away as possible. i ran the wire and tapped it into one of the few switched sources in the car. the sunfroof button. turns on and off with the key.
the blend mount for the rear view is nice aswell.

I have the Valentine V1 and I have it hard wired in the very top left-hand corner of my windshield, makes it easy to view it without it being distracting while driving.
Since you're in Ontario (Which is basically like Virginia/DC down here on RD bans), you'll want to go for a stealth setup.
You'll want a hardwire and a visor organizer to hide it, such as this: Radar Detector Concealed Visor Organizer
You can modify any visor organizer to work. Make sure your hardwire setup has a hidden kill switch that you can discretely hit without the officer noticing you. Some of them will purposely leave their radar units on in order to hear any concealed units when they pull you over.

Hmm im thinking of doing this 2 ways
They have this visor mount and a new cig power adapter with 12 feet of straight wire

Or Mount about RPD or at top of Left windshield and run the same 12 foot straight power wire
I currently have a coiled plug in cord and id like for a cleaner install and run the power cable near my pedals and up the A pillar

Stealth Mirror - Integerated Solutions for Valentine V1 Radar Detectors Check these guys out, expensive but pretty bad ass. It says Valentine detectors, but they also have a setup for the Belt STi.
