Radar Detectors or what?
So tonight I was on the expressway taking my girlfriend home when a 3000GT or Prelude (couldn't tell) and an RSX come flying by me going 90-100mph past me. I wanted to catch up but I knew my V6 Camaro doesn't stand a chance, plus I had my girlfriend with me lol.
Man, Monday feels like it's so far away. I get to pickup my 05 Jade Green w/ Tan interior RSX type S with only 9k miles. I decided to go with that instead of the Cobalt :-/
Anyways...
I was just wondering since I never really got into the racing or anything, how do you race and cruise at 90mph on the expressway without getting cought? Do you just not care? Do you outrun the cops? I really wanna race and drive fast but I'm afriad of another speeding ticket.
Do you use radar dectors? I thought they didn't work? If so, what kind do you use or is the best?
Or if not, what do you do to not get cought? Or how do you know where the cops are or are not?

radar detectors definitely help, at night you'll get pulled over if your going pretty quick, depends how many people are on the road.
if you endangering other peoples lives you'll get pulled over...don't be afraid, thats worst, just take time to know how to do it, push the limit a little at a time...but I don't recommend racing around, just once in a while if its somewhat safe to do it....
get a simple one at walmart, that has like 360 degrees and ****, that one worked better than cobra ones! it was called the whistler, can't go wrong wit it, I gotta actually pick one up

what about during the day lol? i saw them at night time though.
what kind is the best? i heard corless is bad. what works better the ones that plug into your cigarette lighter or the remote mounted ones.
the remote ones sound cool because cops cant see them
but ive had a cop tell me himself radar detectors dont work well
which one has the best range?
sorry i know i have a lot of questions tonight

like i said my whistler had the best range out of all my friends cobras, I'd slam on the brakes and they'd be like WTF and then theres would go off...
my whistler just plugged into the cirgarette lighter
during the day definitely easier to speed, theres more cars on the road so cops have a harder time knowing it was you speeding, unless your right in front of them.
