Radar Detectors in your SS?
I wonder if those laser jammers you install near your license plate work. I remember a Mythbusters episode on what doesn't work (like the CD hanging from the rearview mirror and such).
When I was car shopping a while back, I noticed that some people install emitters on their front bumper which "drowns out" the wavelength that the laser looks for. I've got a laser "jammer" on my current detector too, and I could've sworn it's saved me a time or two. I know radar jammers are illegal though. You probably wouldn't want to grow an extra head anyway even if they were legal.

Giving out $50 tickets for having your license plate on the dash, which is still clearly visible, might I add, instead of having it on the front fascia, is bullshit. That's called nothing better to do with your time. It's just small things you notice when you live out here for so long. Like I said, you can't fully understand someone until you put yourself in their position.
They do ignore ****. There are so many drug dealers in my town, it's insane, yet I see them, day after day. There is always kids underage drinking, people's cars get broken into, vandalism, etc. I guess license plates are more important. Eh?

Only in Virginia, Washington DC, and any military base. You can run radar detectors in all other states. Active Radar Jammers, however, are federally banned by the FCC.
is different. Only a few select providences allow them.
