Radio fuse help

I just installed my new indash unit and I put a fuse tap on the sunroof for the ACC but now the sunroof won't open unless the tap is taken out. My question is can I put a bigger fuse than the 15 amp that was in there or will it be to much or should I tap it with something else? Thanks for any help

Bump anyone?

try an add a fuse unit. it sounds like the tap isnt letting the fuse fully go in place

its working because if i leave the tap in but unhook the radio the sunoof works, bu then when i put the radio back on it the radio works but no sunroof. i dont want to add a bigger fuse because that circuit is only rated for 15, is there another place i can tap it? i am using the add a fuse by bussmann it has a spot for 2 fuse but all i did was put the regular 15amp from the radio in it, should i get a 10 and 5 and put ti in, or will it be safe to add another 10 amp to it.

if i add a 10 that would be 25, do you think that it will be to much for the circuit?

nah you should be fine. most times the hu uses constant power vs acc power but you dont really want to go with a smaller fuse then the hu's 10a

i second this idea....go to this fuse , works alot better, or you can find the RAP wire should be up high above the steering column, i believe its a thick gauge green or dark blue, allows whatever your using to stay on until you open the do or. OR you can just go to the drivers boot coming into the car , but i believe it changes color. From blue or green to (IDK)
