rear 6x9

hey ima bout to get some new speakers on ebay and i want to make sure that ill have enough clearance in the back to install them. I know that board sets over the top of them in the back. the stock ones dont have the tweaters or whatever sticking out of the speaker an extra inch or two so i just wanna make sure they wont be bulging out or anything. also for the side doors those are 6 1/2 inch speakers right?aight thanks in advance, PCE

you might haveta cut out part of the rear deck to make the 6x9's fit, tough to tell until you get em in

I had a pair of 3-way ALpine's put in. Plug and play is all I have to say.

I just installed some Pioneers today, it was really easy. There is tons of clearance for the 6x9's. All I had to do was drop the speakers in. I was even able to use the stock bolts from the old speakers. They sound awesome!

I just grabbed a pair from BestBuy. Nothing special, 220W 3-way TS-G950M's. They sound great. Much better bass response and overall quality than the stock speakers by far.
