Question remote start problems

ok so here it goes.. I own a 2009 ls manual trans. and i recently bought a two-way autopage alarm/remote start. the alarm function works fine. but when i finished the remote start function it wouldn't work... let me explain, i installed the interface and bypass module so the theft lock wouldn't be a problem, well now when i go to start my car the theft lock kicks in and wont let me start it. with the key and with the remote. and when it does work with the remote start i have to be in the car holding the clutch pedal down. im starting to think the module that i bought (1701g) is not the right one. ive had a mecp certified installer look at it and he says that the module might be bad. im at a complete standstill with this project and its really getting annoying so any and all help is very much appreciated. thanks.

here links to the alarm and module:

Did you do a clutch bypass by chance? Also get rid of that 1701g because they suck, I hated using them. I believe dlpk is gonna be your best bet. Let me know if you have any questions.

Should be a yellow wire at the switch, and its a positive wire. You can hook your starter wire from your unit right to the clutch wire. That should make the clutch think it's pushed in and start the car. Try this first and if it works then roll with it and don't worry about changing bypasses.

Yeah, I would go with iDatalink module. They are hands down the best module out there. I have been installing with them for the last 3 years and virtually no issues. Also, in reference to a few posts back about the key sense wire, you do NOT need to power this as it is not required for remote starting in our cars. Also, as stated before it sounds like you dont have your clutch bypass wired in. You want to run a starter trigger from your remote starter to the Purple wire located in the passenger side center console(fuse block area) and the wire is located in the bottom connector(C1 connector - closest to front of the vehicle) The wire is located in pin B10 and is a 14 gu. wire. Hope this also helps you out.
