Remote starter bypass question

Ok so I was at circuit city today and found this on sale of course.
http://www.bypasskit.com/manuals/420...0_D00_I_EN.pdf

Now this is where im not sure of things. where it shows cutting the wire im guessing your supposed to cut the wire and run the one that comes from the car into the bypass and the one that goes into the connector from the bypass. and the green data wire you just supposed to tap into? And then the brown wire runs to the remote starter and thats it? Any help here would be great.

They already got rid of all the installers like two weeks before they announced they went bankrupt.

What kinda alarm did you get? The cobalt isn't the easiest car to star with man.

that sounds correct

the brown is an output going to your aftermarket remote start/alarm
the green is tapped with the violet
the red is an 12volt input that connects to the red/white of the vehicle , wire is cut, and the violet/white is connected to the other end of the cut wire.
