Sedan LED 3157's bright enough?

Looking at these on ebay. I DO NOT CARE that they are cheap. I have had great success with cheap leds before on ebay.

These look like the style of LED that would be very bright some im wondering what you guys think, NOT in terms of quality but brightness.

And I should be using a Red led not a white correct? I cant remember what white looks like inside tail lights but i know its brighter.

Almost bought these POS's by accident but then I remember that a candle makes more light.

You can use white if you want because it'll be behind a red filter anywas, so it will still look red.

the only thing that i worry about with the "brightness. is with the LEDs all of the light is throw outward towards the lense. sounds great, but there is a reason the inner housing of the taillight is chrome. a regular bulb throws light backwards and reflects it outward. i have had no luck wiht putting generic LEDs in taillights, though you may find something that will work.

I'll see if I can dig some up. They were more than bright enough and IMO looked pretty good.
