sound damping inside sub box?

sound damping inside sub box?

i noticed the back of my sub box vibrates and im about to get a shipment of some damping mats and was wondering if its a wise idea to put a few pieces on the inside of the box?

Won't hurt anything. Won't be as effective as bracing, in my opinion.

i already have front to back bracing, i could do top to bottom but i dont think that will help.

its MDF btw...not sure on how big but its at least 3/4 inch or maybe a inch.
