So I've only had my 06 Cobalt SS for a few months and I've decided I want to start customizing it. I ordered some SPEC D Dual Halo Projector Headlights with LEDs and decided I'd tried installing them myself. I followed the How-To on here and could only get my LEDs, one Halo, blinkers, and the regular headlight (not sure of the correct name) to come on. I tried looking around on the internet and tried a few different methods and now only have the regular headlights and blinkers working. I've also lost my dash lights and my running tail lights. Just curious if anyone has any advice or should I just take it somewhere to get it all sorted out?

 

i would unhook everything see if u can get your daslights and stuff back. if not then check the fuse box (both under hood and inside the car) and replace any blown fuses. hopefully thats the case then take it somewhere to get the lights installed

 

Ours come all pre-wired and you just need to plug in the main harness into the headlight harness

Check the fuse, most likely the issue

 

Ok cool thanks. Mine have the Halo and LED wire that have to be spliced in and before I blew the fuse I only had one halo working. And when I turned my brights on, everything shut off. Any idea what that could be?
