The start of my GF's 06 install

so i ordered parts for the install i am doing in my GF's 06 cobalt

paid $75.90 for install parts and $127.99 for the radio she wants.

ordered parts:

Steering Wheel Control Interface
PAC SWI-PS - $43.99
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Antenna Adapter
MBA1B - $4.98
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Wireing Harness
70-2103 - $10.98
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...=STRK:MEWNX:IT

Dask Kit
99-3302 - $15.95
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...d=469087080016

Radio
CDX-GT630UI - $127.99
http://www.dealercostcaraudio.com/sonycdx-gt630ui.aspx

So is there anything i should keep an eye out for when doing the install... i know i will have to run a acc wire to my fuse box (to an 15 amp fuse? usually i put remote wires (for amps) on the sunroof fuses). but anything else or clarification on the acc wire would be great too.

Will update with pics on finished product.

just remember the swi needs an acc as well and it helps if the data wire is soldered

when u get the swi ps it will tell you to connect one wire from it to one in the harness thats the data wire. then connect a wire in the harness to ACC... that doesnt matter if its soldered or not (i used a t-tap)

lowest is 10a so wiper or sunroof fuse

no you can hook it up to the sunroof 15a fuse if it works... the lowest amprage fuse you can use is 10a anything higher is fine

it is ACC and it is the white/black at A10... the reason it wasn't working was i was programming it wrong... you push the button to program then start while the light still lit... i thought (directions said) to start after the light went out. but its all working properly... except the preset button... it labeled "1 - 6" i set it as preset + but its seek >> lol so i (well she) has two seek >> buttons... but it works great. she couldn't be happier with the radio she chose
