Stereo Gurus: I Need Your Help.
Since I installed my Pioneer Avic D3 headunit I've had a feedback problem when the car is turned off/power is cut off. Any help as to what I can do to stop this from happening? The feedback comes from the rear and not the front if that helps.
Bump.
Ttt!

Thread hijacker! I lul'ed also when i first saw his sig.
As far as defining feedback, it's hard to explain, but it almost sounds as if the stereo is cutting off when the car cuts off and it only makes the sound in the rear.

More like a popping noise rather than a cracking noise.
I'm not quite sure. It's made by Axxess so I'm guessing the module. I bought it off a local member who sold me the headunit as well. I'm not very inclined when it comes to stereo wiring.

because if the stock amp is turning off after the HU then it would do that. makes perfect sense but the module shouldnt allow that unless its fucked. but if it was fucked then it shouldnt work at all.
unless u wanna try bypassing either the acc or remote turn on for the amp

Hold the phone before you do this try getting a wire touching it from the rca shield to the chassis of the radio (basically grounding out the rca shield) see if that does anything before anything else
depends on which one of the two u were doing. if its the amp remote wire which would be ur best bet then you would need to cut your stock harness. i would leave enough wire just in case u need to u can rewire back to stock. so 1" from the harness itself cut the pink wire. attach the side running into the car to the blue white remote wire coming out of the deck and disconnect it from the module harness
lol ur prolly right man im
