stock controls w/ aftermarket player

will the steering wheel controls work with an aftermarket cd player?

nope... but you can get a pac unit to make it so they function again

what exactly is a pac unit, how much does it cost, and where can i find one?

Yeah... That would be awesome if I could keep the steering wheel controls with a new stereo b/c my stock one f's up occasionally.

the actual name is a steering wheel radio control interface but the company thats known to make them is PAC. (mine isnt pac its made by peripheral) It works for radios that have remote controls by turning the stock signal to infared and works like the remote itself. heres a link on the first one i saw on google because the pac site didnt seem to be puplic any more (or something else was wrong)
