Stock Deck Question

Ok so I own a 06 ss and want to install a aux cord. I know you can do this if your car came with the XM but Im 99.3% sure mine did not because when I switch through the sources XM doesnt come up. I have not taken the stereo off yet because its cold as ***** out and I dont have a garage. Though there is an MP3 logo printed right on the fron of the deck...I for the life of me cant find any stock aux port so does this logo stand for something else or am I missing something????

I got one of these (
Amazon.com: iSimple ISGM11 Satellite Radio Kit with Auxiliary Input: Car Electronics Amazon.com: iSimple ISGM11 Satellite Radio Kit with Auxiliary Input: Car Electronics
) and it works great. Can still use the buttons on my steering wheel and they control my iPod too.

u find the XM radio by going through 'band's on the radio... it goes fm, fm2, am, then xm and xm2.

i just ran a headphone cord to the xm wires and hacked into them. works great. theres a how to on here somewhere

Tapping into the XM wires works pretty well, but isn't the best quality, also with a new head unit you can adjust more settings on lows, highs and mids with just the stock amp, I have a kenwood DX419 and it is a ton louder and cleaner.

Im assuming that the 05 Cobalts didnt come with an aux input jack either eh? Guess ill have to look into getting a new head unit.... or figuring a way to splice into the wiring to make it work. Gotta be able to play phone/ipod
