Question Stock HU wiring

Hi everybody, I am the proud owner of an 06 ss/sc with the stock pioneer stereo and I am thinking about replacing the HU. I looked at the stickied Cobalt audio pinouts and I don't understand what the "Low Level Audio Signals" are used for on the connector C1. I have installed a few stereos in some older cars/trucks but I am totally lost when it comes to this. I would really like to keep the stock amp so if anyone could explain this to me it would be greatly appreciated.

get a cobalt harness and use the pink wire (where ever it is) to connect to the remote on the aftermarket HU

So what do those Low Level Audio Signal wires do? Do I just eliminate them? Also does anyone know where to find the harness/device that lets me keep my door chimes?

im pretty sure they are regular speaker wires but since the ss/sc has a amp the stock hu doesn't have a powerful preamp.

you can use the regular harness you dont need a gmlanos to keep chimes (but you do for onstar)
