Stock radio capabilities

n00b question but my didnt come with a Owners Manual (bought used) and i was just wondering what exactly does the msg button doe on the stock radio.

if a radio station broadcasts a message like there call letters, &or the song playing, when you push that button it will show that info... nothing special...

ah im assuming with cds too? Maybe not...none have shown up with mine...eh a buddy of mine with a G6 tried to tell me i could recieve txt messeges with that button..im assuming he's just a liar? =P

wow....i'd punch him in the face so he could know what a face plant fail would feel like haha

but its for the radio and if you have an MP3 cd, it displays the text on the cd.
