I have a stock 2006 stereo in my cobalt. is is possible to put a 2008 stereo in its place so that is has xm and aux port already in it?

 

Easy answer, yes. It can be done. But it's not as easy as just pulling the old one out, adn putting the new one in. I can't remeber everything that needs done, but I know there are threads bout it somewhere, I just find them right now.

Best bet is to go with an aftermarket hu.

 

ya just trying to save some money. just want something that will take up all of the room.

 

ya you can defiantly get a double din to fill the opening you can get them both in a normal cd player or a screen
