Stock Sub
what is the highest wattage that the stock sub would take? im thinking of getting another sub and making boxes for both of the subs so they can be over the wheel well still.
edit: OP didnt make to much sense, so here it is better;
I am looking for another sub so i can run dual 10" subs in the trunk. i am skilled in carpentry and have access to a shop so i would make boxes that fit over both wheel wells. i want to run the stock sub as one, so i dont have to spend so much money later on, so what wattage can the stock sub take? im thinking of buying a 800w amp after summer. i also would have a shop install everything

never knew that, hmm now i have to change my design.
maybe just a 12" with a custom box and a big amp. and keep the stock one, for parting out or selling my car

^^^ better idea. if i had to guess how much power it could handle id say maybe 200w rms at the very most. a much more honest answer would be like 100w. the stock amp doesn't give that sub more then 75w rms Ive hooked an aftermarket amp to one before and it either got 300w or 150w and it blew in good time
