Question Stock Subwoofer Help!

Okay, i have a 2007 SS/SC! My stock sub was working fine up until a few weeks ago. I was on my way to work, when I noticed it wasn't hitting as hard as it usually did. I thought it might of just been the quality of the songs i were listening to.

Long story short, over the span of 2 or 3 days, it went from sounding normal, to now barely making any sound at all! ! Im pretty noob when it comes to car electronics. Could this just be a fuse? Could i have blown the sub? Could a wire have disconnected?

Could it be something else? It feels like there is still a tiny tiny tiny bit of sound coming out of it when i pop the trunk and put my ear next to it LOL, but the bass from the speakers alone overpowers the subwoofer completely!

Any help would be greatly appreciated as i don't really want to buy an aftermarket subwoofer if i don't have to !

Thanks! p.s Sorry for writing a book

check your EQ settings on your radio and all fuses first, doesn't seem right to me. GM wouldn't make a subwoofer that would blow.

I checked the settings numerous times, and they are all good. As with the fuses, would it say in the owners manual which ones are for the sub? Like i said I don't know very much about audio equipment Lol, thanks.

do you use an ipod? My ipod cord starting going shitty and if it was moved the wrong way the sound would only go to the left side of the car and the sub was really quite

I checked the fuse, and it's good Lol , So i guess it is the Subwoofer itself.

Yup, Lol! Time to start looking for a setup! I was looking at the (" How to upgrade the stock Pioneer sub to sound awesome and look stock. (With Pics) " ) Post, and this is definitely an idea!
