So I have a strange issue with my locks on my 06 Cobalt SS/SC. I can unlock the car with my remote and the button inside as long as the car is off. Also, when I first take off, the doors automatically lock and when I turn the car off the automatically unlock. All seems normal there. However, when the car is running, I cannot use the button inside the car to unlock the doors. I have to manually pull the lock up with my hand to get out with the car still running. Same goes for the passenger side. Anyone have any ideas as to what might be going on here? It's driving me crazy!

 

I have the same problem, even went through the info button process and no joy there. Pisses my wife off when she can't unlock her door when I try and drop her off or get out of the car before I shut the engine off. There isn't any button or switch like most cars, but it is a GM soooo....

 

Yeah same problem here with my wife. I have to hear about it everytime...
