sub trouble

Ok, so with help from people here i was able to get my system going. Long story short i took the sub out...it was just to big. I decided to get a smaller setup. I went to reinstall my am and now it wont even turn on, checked fuses on the amp all 30amp fuses are fine. redid the power wire, re did the ground. I put the ground on the stock ground by the battery, dont know if that is good or not but it worked once before and now...nothing. I got and add a fuse and used that in the wiper spot, the wipers work but the amp will not turn on.

Any clues?

Maybe the remote is shorted out from all the moving in and out of parts?
