sub woofer questions
i have 2 ten inch subs and an amp, i wanted to have both installed and keep the stock sub. Is that at all possible? Mind you that i dont kno jack about car audio
You can do it but I don't recomend it. There is no point to keep the stock sub it will only lessen the quality of the music and will add very little in terms of SPL (basically how loud it sounds).
If you are going to add new equipment then get rid of the stock sub. There are other people on here that have it in there still but it is not going to do anything, or at most it will muffle the sound of your bass.
To add your amps and keep the stock head unit you will need a hi/low level converter; that is unless your amp takes hi level inputs(or in other words will run off of speaker wires rather than RCA wires).

subs
i have two ten inch pioneer premier champion series in my ss/sc and it sound great, my advice to you is disconnect the oem sub, they gave me a hard time at the dealership when i removed, so just disconnect it, if you want to replace your door speakers and your rear deck go with pioneer 5 ways, they are very clear. I will post pictures up of my setup if you want.....
