System!!

Alright, I am wanting to put 4 12" subs in my trunk. I am going to build a nice custom Fiberglass box. What is the best way to do this?

Also should I run 2 amps? and should I put a second battery in my car to power these safely? I am already gonna put a nice optima battery in there.

i got 2 kickers, and i gaurentee u, that u will not enough air space and capacity to run 4 12's efficiently. i have 2 12's and i bet they hit harder than ur 4 subs will. waste of money imo. but to answer ur ?, separate amps, and cap each amp. buy urself a battery. there ya go. if i were u, figure out what subs ur goin with. audio is not a cheap hobby. what power range r u going with? ohm? dbs? talk to emperorjj1. he's sick with audio. also impulseballer makes fiberglass boxes. talk to him.

Isn't that kinda backwards? I was always under the impression that the box should be build to the specs of the subs. If the demensions of the box don't match the subs required air space then it won't sound right.
With power two amps running 2 12's a piece will draw you will want to think about a new alt. For example if both amplifiers have a 50 amp draw and your stock alt. only puts out 105 amps well you do the math.
