Tap into stock sub wiring?

Hey guys. I was thinking isn't it possible to just tap into the stock subs speaker wire. This instead of tapping into the speakers on the rear deck(to add after market subs). I was thinking bc this would give just low freq sub signal instead of full range speaker freqs. Is this do able?

I'm no expert, but I don't think the sub has its own line on this system - I think it's just a splice of the rear speaker wires as it is.

I just used an inline converter and ran that off the back speakers. Flip your amp so that it filters out the high freq, and only plays the low freq stuff. Then you can hook the power/ground/remote like normal.

The sound quality is said to sound not so great, but to me... bass is bass. Mine is very responsive and tight bass due to the enclosure, but if you were to enter into a SQ contest, I for sure would get kicked out.

yeah this is just for everyday music listening. I'm using a bandpass so all that bass stays in the car. itz a very easy setup. The best part is the battery is already in the truck. Thas the best part.
