So ive been reading quite a bit into this and searching on the forums and just have a few questions that im still a little unclear on, would and upgraded alternator fit in our cars? and also would that be more cost effective then running dual alternators? and what would be the pros/cons to both of those setups? thanks ahead of time.

the is a place called ohio alternators they deal very close with rockford fosgate basically every 1000 watts draws 70 amps from your alternator amps for subs pull more then amps from speakers. its best to get a bigger alternator and 2 batteries. but what system are you putting in that you need one. i had a system in my bat if your going that crazy buy a suv

 

Well im getting one of the referb T20001's and I have an FI BTL (2000 watts RMS) So I just wanted to make sure that I could support that and what was the better thing to do.

 

best thing to do is upgrade the alt and add 1 or 2 agm style deep cycle batteries like: carquest NGT extreme, kinetik, powemaster, optima yellow ect

now getting the upgraded alt might be hell because I've yet to see anyone offer one or even have a member post about getting one rewound. So good luck, it can be done thou

regarding the dual alt setup. unless your real ballsy, have some cash to flush down the toilet its probably not going to happen, and know a badass welder/audio guy its not going to happen. I would guess i paid a good grand on the alt setup alone and i got the friend discount
