Upgraded systems what are you running?

Looking to ungrade interior speakers just want some ideas on what everyone is running at the moment. Far as subs are concerned i have 2 Orion Hcca competition 10's 3,500watts 2,000rms a piece but i will only be running one of them with a Hifonic 2600watt class D mono amp, thinking of running oxygen audio speakers for interior with maybe a crunch amp but what are your upgrades?

<<needs an upgrade too. i got an MA Audio 1000 watt monoblock powering 2 low ass kicker 10"s. it sounds good but i'm surprised the amp hasn't blown the subs yet. i got kicker speakers in front and back, mainly because they work well with my black/yellow theme but need to get a good amp for the mids/highs as well. while on a reasonable budget (as we all are with this shitty economy).

^pioneer's been fishy lately. also, be careful. Wal-mart now sells pioneer as well and their units are similar in full claimed function but are cheaper because their wattage rms to their speakers is reduced in comparison to the similar but slightly more expensive unit that is a different model # but not sold at wal-mart. my g/f found this out the hard way.

I had a great eclipse head unit but the usb cable that was attached to the unit kept failing to read my usb so after warranty was up this year i just switched to a kenwood excelon unit. works great and sound is clear.

i'd say it depends on what you really want outta your system. check all the specifications and make sure it fits what your looking for. having a couple sets of pre-amp outputs its essential to most people and ensuring it has a decent rms to each speaker is nice unless your planning on amping it up anyway in which case the rms to speakers becomes less of a concern. kenwood and alpine are arguably the best in the business but they vary greatly in function and price. if you go kenwood make sure it is an excelon, they are usually onlyy slightly more than a smiliar kenwood unit but the excelon units usually have a boost in power range and sometimes a bit more function.

Crutchfield: Car Stereo, Speakers, Home Theater, LCD TV, Digital Cameras is a great place to search and compare prices and specifications. if nothing else it will at least give you an idea. plus they always give you a free install kit which you could give or sell to make a few bucks back

I hate it when people make ignorant comments like that. In that case one of my 8's sounds like a 15.

Pioneer has been trash for almost a decade... Their Premier series is remotely decent though.

Are you high? Kenwood sucks more wiener than a **** star at a gang bang, Alpine is debatable if you buy their good ****. Rockford Fosgate, Sundown, Skar, Rainbow, Audiobahn, MA(before they were bought by Jensen), JBL, Cerwin Vega, MB Quart, Memphis, JVC, JL, DC, Ascendent... those are some of the best names in car audio.

ZSTAT seems to be taking the SC/NC market by storm but I have no experience with them.

My current setup:
stock head
Rockford Fosgate Punch 6x9's
Rockford Fosgate Punch PBR300.1
(2) Skar Audio MA-8
Custom 1.0^ft ported enclosure @47-50htz
Stinger 10G power/speaker wire
Stinger 9G ground

Head is faded 100% rear because stock fronts are blown but I may be able to get some of these soon: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...wer-T162C.html
