USB ipod hook up on factory head unit?

Just wondering if there's something i could buy for my stock Pioneer HU (08 cobalt) that would allow me to play and view my ipod on the screen. Is there some kind of module or upgrade that is available?

Thanks

if you have the '09/10 USB radio you can hook up your Ipod to it - I can't recall exactly how it functioned, but my brother hooked up his Ipod on our road trip (april), and it worked great...
I'm pretty sure it showed all the track info, and let him pick tracks via the radio controls just as though it was a memory stick with music on it...

There are a few things you can do here:

1.) Buy a factory headunit that actually has a USB port on it. You'll have to take it to the dealer to be reprogrammed for your car, but aside from that its totally plug and play.
Theres one for sale in the classifieds right now: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/part...-radio-226465/
2.) Buy the GM Personal Audio Link: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/elec...adapter-68692/

3.) Buy one of these: USA Spec GM iPod® Interface Connects your iPod to select 2006-up GM LAN factory stereos
