Thumbs up what do u guys think of this location for courtesy lights?

so im guna be adding some courtesy lights sometime soon... and im trying to decide a location to install them...

i took this pic with my sidekick and have highlighted a possible location in green..

in guna be following KeystoneSC's how-to on installing the courtesy lights so that they turn on when the doors open... im going for a soft light, not bright ass LEDs...

so what do u guys think of this location?

yay or nay?

thanks for any input, and if you guys have any other suggestions on locations, just go ahead and post up here... thanks

you dont want anything pointing sideways... theres a few locations under there where u can put them facing down but sadly not as many as most GM vehicles

personally i would go with some LEDs. sounds like you'd want the warm white (similar to normal incandescent) over the cool white (similar to the HID looks) because if anything you can add a resistor or two on the power wire to dim them.

I've been toying with this idea too....I was gonna go with one in the top corner of each A-pillar, and one onn the top of each sail panel in the back too. I hate not having dome lights, but dont want to install the factory GM dome light.

samer here.. i hate not having a dome light, i gota sunroof so its very dark in the back... my moms actually hates how there are no courtesy lights so this project is kinda for her.. i mean dont get me wrong, i wish i had a dome light or at least some courtesy lights but wel see what i can find...

i dont know if i wana add them on the a pillar though..

meh, ima keep lookin around for the actual fixture thingies that hold the lights.... gota find something used, then probably sand it down and paint it to match.

I need to put lights in the back, there is nothing back there. The front is fine. (I have the lights off in my cav, so its not a big deal)
