what type of sound deadener

Not sure which type i really need. I want to get some for the trunk lid and the rear deck. They just vibrate like crazy and make a rattling sound. Im sure we're all familiar with that sound. Anyways should i get these CLD tiles which are supposed to stop the panels from resonating

Or should i get the Mass loaded vinyl barrier which is just supposed to stop the sound from going through the barrier. not sure if it is supposed to also stop the panels from vibrating.

also how much do you think i would need?

as always thanks in advance

If you really want it to stop rattling go with one of the Damplifier's (IMO-Pro) and then some spectrum.

If you want to do it right you need to at least do the whole trunk and both sides of the rear deck lid. So its going to take alot of product to get it done.

Well im only running 600 watts so i dont think i have to do anything too crazy. Its not that i dont want anything to move I just dont want all the rattles, and for most of the flex in the trunk to stop

also the CLD tiles that i posted seem like the same stuff the damplifier pro uses. They seem like they are made up the same layers. Aluminum with a butyl rubber adhesive layer

i think im going to do some cld tiles because they are a lot cheaper and if they dont work out ill get some damp pro, that way im only out like $20 before i go and spend a lot on the damp pro
