Wideband issues.

so the idiot who owned the car before me decided it was a good idea to put the wires through the steering column hole rather then through the grommet, which resulted in all the lines getting wrapped up and torn. So I fixed the boost gauge and oil pressure gauge, but the wideband i can't fix.

I took it all out and wired up the wires where it had snapped off, and plugged it all back in , but it's still not lighting up. Yes it's hooked up to a power source but the gauge won't even turn on. Did it short out the gauge? Or do I just need a new wire? Help would be appreciated thanks.

It probably pulled the wires off of the board inside the gauge itself.

Either tore wires in gauge or blew gauge if power grounded to steering column. Is there no fuse to check? Idiot could have set his car on fire
