Wiring Question

Alright Ive got a 12" dual 4ohm alpine type-s and then a 500 watt RMS 1000 watt max power Blaupunkt amp it is mono I just have it setup through a AULOC I was wondering what the best way is to wire the sub ive got it parallel right now and it just doesnt sound like I think it should the amp is Blaupunkt PCA-1350 if it helps thanks ahead of time

Could be many things, but two immediately come to mind.
1) Did you set your gains correctly?

2) Do you have the sub in a good quality cabinet built to spec?

Your little link didnt work but how do you set the gains correctly thanks and its in a bass slammer MTX sealed enclosure and ive heard sealed is the best for this sub

put it in a good ported box. MTX never really perfected their box designs for even their subs much less an alpine. and yes it should be paralled to get a 2 ohm load to the amp
