wondering if my ECM is bad

Recently replaced my clutch and everything went fairly smoothly but when i took it for a test drive, i have no speedometer, the shift gauge doesnt read what gear im in, i have no engine temp sensor, and my fan turned on and wouldnt turn off until i unplugged the battery. is there anything it could be besides the ECM? it doesnt seem to be running like **** and it idles perfectly fine. any ideas help, because im out of ideas. i checked any fuses that would make sense.

I don't know if all this could be caused by a loose or forgotten ground wire but that might be the first thing to check. I assume it is like mine so there should be a large ground wire that connects to the body front the engine/trans under for the drivers side headlight. Second would be a bad or missing connection in the fuse box where the large connectors suck up and connect to the terminals on the fuse panel. Check to make sure all the bolts that pull up the connectors are tightened properly. If they all appear tight it may be worth removing the top fuse panel to make sure the connectors are aligned properly and no terminals are deformed. The other possibility is some pinched or accidentally cut wires in the main harness that happened during the transmission install.

I would first point the finger at the mechanic and have them look at what they may have forgotten to plug in or possibly damaged during the clutch job.

Doubtful that it's the ECM; more likely that it's a loose connector on the bottom of the fuse box. Did you use the fuse box removal method to drop the transmission? Potential problem with grounding, as well, but I think that'd be less likely.
