ill start off by sayin i have a 2006 cobalt LS

i followed the instructions step by step. on the last step for hookin up the green wire, which goes to the clutch position sensor, hooks up to the brown/white wire on the ecu. problem is that the instructions says there are 2 of them and i only have one and with my luck it doesnt work. also on the instructions it says pin #8 is the wire im lookin for and its non existent. lookin up under the dash at the plunger for the clutch i see a pink wire and a yellow wire, im wondering if anyone else have had this issue and how did you fix it. thanks
