yes that would work you will need to run the ACC from the radio to the fusebox as there is no ACC in the cobalt wiring harness

well since your adding the new radio i would use that spot for the radio then run the sub remote wire to the radio remote out vs the acc from the fusebox (thats assuming the radio has a remote out)

okay so.. one more question... the other end of the iso wiring harness that comes with the xtron, has clips to clip on to the stereo wiring harness in my car but it wont fit, does this mean when i get the metra wiring harness, i just remove the wires from the xtron wiring harness so i can solder then together with the metra harness? lol thanks alot im just tryin to get this right the first time so it isnt a pain in the ass fixin all kinds of mistakes lol

weird ya you can buy a kenwood adapter to plug into that but id just cut it off idk why they would have that on there, normally that would be what plugs into the radio

you need to run the acc to the fuse box for it to turn on. the orange wire is a dimmer for it to dim at night. our cars dont have that because they run on data. blue is the remote for adding an amp

okay well i had a set of subs installed awhile ago and i was wondering if i could just splice the wire going to the amp for the acc wire? the wire goes to a 10 amp fuse in the fusebox

ya that should work just fine. if you are still running the subs you may want to change that to the blue remote wire from the HU for optimal results thou. not a huge deal if you dont
