im wondering who here has the coolest loudest largest stereo?

could you post some pictures or show me where i could see some

 

i'm not gonna have the biggest or loudest...but i'm going to get my 2x Kicker comp 12's and my 900W Audiobahn amp installed on sunday...that should give me enough bump in my trunk

 

the comps or the comp vr's and did you already buy that amp?

 

Biggest and loudest could be a bad thing for a small car like the Cobalt. You might rattle right off the road.

I originally had 2 Xplode 500W amps and 2 Audiobahn 12" Performer subs. One of my amps blew somehow because Sony sucks and I'll be rocking Alpine Type E subs when this mess is fixed.

 

have yo thought about the type r's they have more spl and at high volumes they have better sq

 

i know the comp 12's aren't the best...but i'm gonna have my guy tune them down for clean, precise bass...i dont like the constant thumping just for noise. I want the clarity and punch of the stock pioneer 10...but just more of it. The reason why i'm getting the comp 12's and that amp...is because my buddy is replacing his system with a new one...and i've heard them...so i know what they can do...and he's installing everything for me for $400....not bad at all. I might not have the best subs or the most power...but for $400...it's a pretty sweet setup for what i want it for.

 

ya that does sound pretty decent. however im really big into all this stuff so i have alot of bump in my trunk if you will, is there anyone in this forum that has a huge system or a real cool looking setup

I only have one box built and installed at this time, so only two of the four subs are installed, if you really want me to go take a pic, of what it currently looks like i will.

With just two subs, at full volume, it gets difficult to breathe

 

no thats okay im guessing there jst right next to each other sitting up against the back seat. hard to breathe i know what you mean my current setup hurts my chest like crazy

 

2 jl W3 12s Orion XTR900 amp. jvc KD-AR960 deck. deck is new...rest is from when i was 18. but still goin strong after 7 years.

 

is there someone in here with an insane system? like 10 10's or 2 15's or something crazy stupid like that where they dont have a trunk left

I went sealed, there was no way to fit ported boxes
The SQ is AMAZING
I' am going to get metered the day the second set of speakers go in

in the trunk i have 1 18 inch kicker solox, 2 ma audio 802sx amps for the sub (they each push 4400 watts rms), and a rockford fosgate p800.4
