Okay I was kidding with buying a Corvette

But this is for real. I was in Hawaii when I bought this 2007 2.4L Cobalt SS (over the phone)

White was my first choice but they couldn't find a cloth/no sunroof--I really don't see any value in that stuff. They had a silver, identically equiped but I despise silver (too comon--and I find it dull)

I like the free XM but I doubt I will sign up for it. Pick up an i-pod instead.

I got all the windows tinted except for the front 2--its illegall, the dealership won't do it but window tinting shops do--so as soon as I can, that will be rectified. And I got the 3M rock guard on the front.

If you have to get a 4 door (it is my first ever 4 door BTW :eek ) may as well get the SS----was my thinking. I know many on here don't like the 4 dr SS-- but I'll be happy with it.

I do like that the interior isn't all black, like the coupe. I have grey and black door panels and grey cloth.

Oh and its an automatic transmission!! I honestly don't mind--but a 6 speed auto with paddle shifters would have been better. I was getting sick of my rush hour commute home--it was a PITA in the 5 speed. So with 4 doors I can take the kid with me and the wife can drive it too----though not very often

I'll weigh it ASAP but I bet its only aroind 50-75lbs heavier then my old 2.4L coupe.

anyways, I think the orange is the BEST color for the cobalt sedan. someone in my town owns one and its pimp. Orange would have been my second choice, but I factory ordered blue! check out my car in my garage....

also the ipod thing is awsome, I got an ipod before I got my car becasue I knew I would eventually get one for that reason. I have all my 50+ cds on my 8GB nano and it only takes up like 2GB! plenty of room!

I am taking it real easy for the first 1000+kms or so but I am anxious to let 'er rip. Of course it's slower then my old 5 speed coupe. But it seems eager to go.

I found out the sound system is 260 watt for 07

 

i lived there with my brother

and my buddy lives up there now so its easy to pick out buildings around there

so im guessing you traded in the coupe?
