thats what i thought but it seems like its the cool thing to do now haha.

tell that to m-dub. hes been running this tune for over 6 months now. it doesnt really hold 30, it just spikes 30 and then tapers off. by 6.5k im hitting about 22psi. by 7k im hitting like 20. its safe.

 

hm I dont understand the point then, I spike 25 then hold steady at 23...have you dyno'd your car with this tune? Vince from trifecta told us he wont even try it, well he will but will tell us hes not responsible when **** explodes lol. Mines been 25 the whole time and im already getting fluttering when I let off the gas so im guessing my k04 is about to say bye bye

How is your OEM clutch holding with all the mods and 30 PSI tune? I'm about to switch to E85 with similar mods and wanna know if it'll hold?

 

i think the point of it is for the torque. im not 100% cause i havent done it to mine yet. but if im wrong someone please correct me

i hit 30 psi one day, **** pulled hard! but i got scared and turned it down lol. You have my vote always liked the black ss's, just didnt feel like putting in the effort to keep another black car clean.

so far its holding good. i baby it a lot. i never floor it under 60 in 3rd gear. second gear will never slip, just spin.

correct, its just for that torque. 3rd pulls like a ****.

i clean mine about once a week. wax it about once every 3 weeks. keeps me busy. black is best when its clean tho. especially when its cloudy out.


eh, i would add them but the interior is stock. the engine bay just has a k&n and injen charge pipe. all my mods are for performance.

 

The 30 psi spike is good for a massive spike in torque, also it not your car so why do you care if he blows it up or breaks it?

 

aight, thats what i figured it was for. i think ima try it on mine and see how it works out
