Actually, there was a gentlemen that was interested in this car about 2 weeks prior to me snagging it...so he had the dealership put the tint on and then his financing didn't go through, so they gave me free tint when I bought it. So I guess technically it wasn't stock, but I didn't have to pay for it. Hahaha...Actually I'm glad you brought this up because I had forgotten that guy had them tinted before his financing fell.

Good deal. I don't know what it costs around you, but here it costs about $200

I think the dealer said it was between $250 and $400-ish. But either way, I got it for free...might get it a little darker at some point.

Nice Black. Now ya just gotta keep it clean! And Eagle Nano Wax is excellent... the best imo.

Nanowax and Zaino are actual car waxes. I personally use nanowax and ALOT of people will vouch for it. I find that it's ridiculous easy to use, and it comes off clean without a powdery residue.
Here's one of the threads with a pic

THe Black magic tire shine is just what I found that I like. Tire shine is a MUST if you want your car to look sharp.
I recommend any foaming spray-on type in the spray can over the kinds that come in a squirt bottle and are liquid. For some reason, the "spray and leave it" kinds of tire shine work best for me.

Oh and make sure to clean and polish your rims. I use Mother's Powermetal finish for my rims.

Nanowax - $9.5 per bottle
Black Magic Tire Shine - $4 per car
Mother's Powermetal - $2-3 per bottle
Package of Terry cloth towels - $5 at walmart.
My car--priceless

Actually I'm pretty sure those are the ones someone else posted about. They're not actually rims, they're 5 spoke steelies with a cover on them. Pretty neat idea for lower trim-level cars. They look TONS better than steelies without the expense of full rims.

Thanks, buddy for the info. After pay day tomorrow I'll have to see how much I've got left and see which of those items I can find. I need to shine up my tires, been wanting to do that for some time now. I like them shiny. And thanks for the prices too.

Thanks, thought you forgot I had that theft lock thing.

Yeah, my car came with the theft lock in it. The guy that tried to buy it before me, however, had NOT had that installed. The dealer said it comes stock in certain cars...more or less like randomly I suppose. It's a little plug under my stearing column and I have to put the other end of the plug into it for my car to start/run, etc. It's a great security measure.

Thing looks silly to have. it would look cleaner with a blank trunk lid.
