Rksport hood Test Fit (PICS)

Went and grabbed the hood from Rksport today, fits great like all of their products I've purchased for my vehicles.

Walked through the wherehouse where they make the body kits, and I saw the new Cobalt front bumper.

Those wondering if the Rksports front bumper will look good with their factory sideskirts need not to worry, they designed the front bumper to go with them. Expect a new front bumper in may. ( It's a REALLY nice design.)

Have to wait till I get paid again before I can get it painted, one step at a time right?

Looking good, bet you can't wait for the paint!

Was the front bumper finished, or is it still in the same state as the Spy Photos posted of it? Man you should have had your camera for that!

Of course man here's some pics. The vent is functional but aimed towards the wrong side of the ss/sc intake. Hood design was originally for a non ss. :

I would modify the hood so venting goes down the back of motor to cool the exhaust and create more flow through the rad cause it may creat a vacuum

I would cut along the front part of the dump ducting, so it would flow directly onto the supercharger cooling it faster. Cooler supercharger = more power!

He just said that it was designed for the non-sc. The LS and such have intakes on the left side

looks good man, just get that custom cut so it cools more than just that one spot for the vent.

Wow, that is one quality hood! If I had a base model with an intake, that would be one sweet combo.

Now there's an idea. Your trunk looks great by the way man.

Thanks again everyone for all your comments/opinions.

very nice. I like it. But like they said a bit of modifying to make it flow to a better spot would be awesome

that is going to be a really clean car when painted

subtle yet aggressive styling...not all in your face.

You could call it Ram Air, but you really need to get a short ram air intake as well.
